Our Events
Every event we organize is a platform for expression, creativity, and impact. We design, produce, and support events that amplify the voices of organizations, celebrate innovation, and highlight initiatives that are transforming Africa.
Whether it's international conferences, campaign launches, regional competitions, or community actions, we make every project a memorable and meaningful experience.
The WCA Data Voices Challenge 2025 is a regional video contest calling upon individuals to lend their voices to the importance of statistics and data-driven development in West and Central Africa. .
It aligns with the “Single Voice” theme by asking participants to articulate, in a compelling one-minute speech, how collaboration, trust, and innovation in statistical systems impact their communities and the region. The focus is on translating the high-level theme into relatable, personal, or local narratives.
The campaign will culminate on World Statistics Day (October 20, 2025), with the top entries amplifying the message across key communications channels and at your high-level advocacy event in Senegal.
The 8th edition of SIM Senegal will take place at the Abdou Diouf International Conference Center and Exhibition Center in Diamniadio, Dakar, from November 4 to 6, 2025. The event will be organized by the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum, and Mines of the Republic of Senegal in association with AME Trade.
SIM Senegal is a biannual event dedicated to mining. The event has established itself as one of the largest mining events in West Africa and is the only event supported by the Senegalese government dedicated to the expansion of the country’s mining sector. SIM 2025 will allow all participants to learn more about the policies and priorities of the new government elected in 2024, which include using the mining sector as a “lever for progress, through exemplary governance of mineral resources, focused on a win-win strategy, environmental preservation, and equitable redistribution of revenues.”
The United Nations General Assembly designates November 26th as World Sustainable Transport Day, recognizing the critical role of safe, affordable, accessible, and sustainable transport systems in achieving global development goals.
Dakar, the economic and political hub of Senegal, faces acute challenges related to urban congestion, air pollution, and reliance on fossil fuels. The new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor, running approximately 18.3km from Guédiawaye to the Petersen Bus Station, represents a monumental leap in Senegal’s commitment to sustainable mobility.
This “Bicyclette in Dakar” social activity proposes utilizing a segregated section of the BRT route on this significant day to physically demonstrate the potential for non-motorized transport (NMT), specifically cycling, and to foster high-level dialogue around public and private investment in climate-resilient infrastructure beyond just the BRT.
