A clear graphic identity for a strategic summit in West Africa: Vox Agency alongside UNFPA for HISWACA 2025

In July 2025, Dakar hosted the regional event HISWACA, organized by UNFPA, in partnership with ECOWAS, CEMAC, and the World Bank. This forum, which focused on the harmonization of statistics in West and Central Africa and on the centrality of demographic data in public policies, brought together a wide range of high-level institutional and technical stakeholders. Vox Agency was tasked with designing all the graphic materials for the summit, from the visual identity to the printed and digital deliverables.

The mission began with a central challenge: to graphically translate a theme that is both technical and political, in a sober, coherent, and easily adaptable format. The challenge was twofold: to establish a strong and immediately readable graphic line, while meeting a requirement for responsiveness in production. Over ten days, our team worked on the creation and adaptation of highly varied visuals: official poster, harmonized graphic charter, PowerPoint templates for panels and plenary sessions, name badges, table tents, roll-ups, backdrops, photo wall, social media visuals, or specific elements for the launch of the SWOP report. Each deliverable was designed with a focus on readability, elegance, and alignment with the graphic codes of UNFPA and its partners.

This type of mission is not approached as a simple graphic order. Every day, it requires listening, adjusting, finding the balance between what is expected and what feels right. What we built with the UNFPA team goes far beyond the deliverables. It is a dialogue between institutions, visual language, and collective commitment.

Beyond the volume of production, it is the agility of our approach that defined this mission. The work was carried out in close collaboration with UNFPA’s communication team, in a daily flow of validation, adjustments, and progressive deliveries. It was necessary to anticipate logistical contingencies, integrate program changes, manage emergencies while maintaining overall visual coherence. This type of mission, demanding both technically and organizationally, confirms the importance of ongoing dialogue with the client and rigor in formats, exports, and templates.

All the materials were delivered on time, installed before the event’s opening, and used both on-site and in the partners’ digital communication. The final result contributed to enhancing the event’s readability and impact, by providing a clear and unified visual identity to all the tools used.

For Vox Agency, this mission represents more than a graphic project: it is a concrete demonstration of our ability to support complex institutional events, to produce quickly and well, and to put our graphic expertise at the service of clarity, impact, and message transmission.
